WITI Year in Review 2024–2025

The Women in Innovation and Tech Initiative (WITI) Year in Review 2024–2025 captures our journey from inception to impact. From building digital skills and safe communities for LBQ-GNC women, to contributing to global human rights advocacy, this report reflects two years of intentional growth, learning, and collective action.

What This Report Covers

This annual report highlights WITI’s key milestones, partnerships, and community-led work between July 2024 and November 2025, including:

  • EmpowerHer digital skills and security training

  • Community building and wellbeing initiatives

  • Organizational capacity strengthening

  • Climate, digital, and human rights advocacy

  • Collaborative research and storytelling on forced marriages among LBQ+ women

LBQ-GNC women continue to face intersecting challenges linked to economic exclusion, digital insecurity, climate vulnerability, and gender-based violence. This report documents how WITI responds to these realities through survivor-centered programs, partnerships, and advocacy—while centering care, rest, and community resilience.

As we move into 2026, WITI remains committed to deepening our impact, strengthening partnerships, and amplifying the voices of LBQ-GNC women locally and globally. This report is both a reflection of our progress and an invitation to walk with us as we continue to build safer, more just futures.
