20 Sponsored Courses + Data Stipends

As part of our mission to reduce digital exclusion, WITI provided 20 fully funded online courses to marginalized women from low-income communities across Nigeria. Recognizing that access goes beyond just interest, we also offered data stipends to ensure that every participant could engage fully — regardless of connectivity challenges.

The courses were carefully selected to align with high-demand digital skills and career paths, including:
• UI/UX Design
• Cybersecurity Fundamentals
• Machine Learning for Beginners
• Digital Marketing
• Design Thinking
• Intro to HTML & Web Design
• Canva for Nonprofits

Participants were encouraged to choose courses that matched their passion and career goals. Some chose creative design, others focused on security, while others ventured into AI and machine learning — a true reflection of the diversity of ambition in our community.

This initiative wasn’t backed by external donors — it was powered by WITI itself — a testament to our belief that access to tech is a right, not a privilege.

Every one who took part gained more than knowledge; they gained confidence, a pathway, and a reminder that their voice and skills matter.
